i haven’t quite joined the ranks yet but I would definitely like a fretless Bongo. Considering buying an ugly duckling & refinishing & defretting.

I also have a Neptune Blue 2014 Bongo. I love it, and it will probably go to the grave with me. It is my only electric bass. I do think about getting a passive jazz bass pretty often since they do very things, but other than that and my Martin, I'm good. Just wondering....are any Bongo owners thinking of getting the John Myung Double Drive Pedal by Ashdown? I love my Grizzly Bass for Overdrive, but this one caught my attention. I most always get a hiss of some sort when I boost treble on any of my active basses. My HSP Fretless Bongo is no different...

Same. Max treble on highout put basses leads to a bit of hiss in my experience and depending on the electrical on the premises can lead to a bit of electrical buzz too. That said, I hardly ever need/want treble passed 5-6. It can get piecing
Here it is! It has the older, clover tuners, so I guess it's an earlier model. Hardly any scratches, just a few small marks on the end of the headstock.

Around the time that part 3 was created, Talkbass did a platform upgrade that removed the 1000 post limit on threads.
I'm guessing someone with good intent created part 3 and now there are two parallel threads.
Perhaps the mods could be petitioned to merge the two.
