Two custom made GR Bass Aerotech 212 Slim combos. I ordered them last September but continued supply and shipping issues affected production and delivery times. I bought two as an incentive for Gianfranco to accept the custom project. As it turns out, I understand someone else somewhere in Europe also wanted an identical 212 Slim combo so there are three of them out there in the wild.
The combos have the newer GR Bass features, with the updated logo badge and cloth grill. I thought the controls would be on the top like their 1x12 combo (or like the Markbass 1x12 combo), but instead they are in front which makes the combos a few inches taller than the older 212 Slim cabinet I have. Width and depth are also very slightly larger by a centimeter or two. Weight is 32.4lbs and it can still definitely be hand carried even with the larger dimensions. The amp is a GR Bass One800 with 800 watts @ 4ohms going into a 900 watt cabinet.
I've only had these combos for a couple of days, but my immediate impressions are how warm sounding it is for a solid state and it has a much stronger midrange than my Quilter BB800 + GR Bass AT 212 Slim rig. I am hoping this will make the sound really cut through in a live situation. I can hear every note very clearly which is making me clean up my playing technique so I don't sound so sloppy, but that is a good thing. The top row of LEDs is multifunctional and very bright, but I read the manual and learned how to select the functions or turn them off. The fan is on the loud side, but again after reading the manual I can set it to turn off for quiet studio applications. At this point I have mostly been playing with the 'Pure' switch on, which bypasses all the tone controls and essentially makes the amp just a power amp, and it sounds really great with all my fretless uke basses. On my Ibanez Mikro (my only fretted bass) I turn the tone controls back on and crank the treble & hit the bright switch and I can get a really nice snappy sound for slapping.
One of my pet peeves with electronic equipment of any kind is wiggly knobs, to the point of being a dealbreaker. The knobs on the GR bass amps are rock solid!
I have been trying to figure out a slave arrangement with the two combos using the effects send, but so far I've only been able to make the slave work while the master combo mutes itself. Maybe I need an adaptor cable for the XLR DI out into the 1/4" input?? It would be great to be able to use both combos simultaneously.
Like others here on TB, I considered a modular approach with a 1x12 combo with 1x12 extension cab. In fact, I did have a Markbass rig like that. But the GR Bass Aerotech line is so incredibly light that weight is no longer a factor and so now I will just bring two 12 speakers all the time and just turn down if I need to. Even with my Quilter/212 Slim rig I was able to carry everything by hand in one trip, so this should make shlepping even easier. Also, I have been keen to really shorten the setup and break down time and with the combo format I can probably do both in around a minute or so.
My other rigs are the aforemetioned Quilter BB800/GR Bass AT 212 Slim and a Mesa TT-800/Two Mesa Subway 1x15 stack. They all sound great. But with the high power, great sound, small form factor, light weight and fast setup/breakdown convenience of the new combos I will most likely sell off some of the other stuff.

It's been nine months almost to the day that we began 2022 with the expressed purpose of hitting the magic 300 members, and it was accomplished with a really unique setup and great detail. Congrats to pingvuiini for helping us make it! Miles, 400 is your baby starting now...
I have a combo or two (4 actually). Rumble 15, 40, 100, and 500. I can post a picture later to make it official.

I'm a former owner of a 1965 Ampeg B-15 flip top AKA "Portaflex", where, despite the repositioning of the head, there was a wire connecting the head to the speaker. We considered it a combo.
Despite the lack of flipping, I consider any Ampeg Portaflex to be a "combo" amp, if only by the power of history and tradition.

I am, btw, the owner of 3 combos reduced to 2: two Lowdown 110s and a Lowdown 150 that I split into a head and cab, reducing it's weight by 30 lbs. Yeah, I like Line 6 and wish they still made bass amps.
