If you want a membership number, post a pic of the combo(s) and ask! No hazing required or allowed. At least until you have that number.

I ordered my second combo....
I broke weak on the Labor Day Sale for the Rumble 40.
I also had a gift certificate for Amazon. If it weren't so cheap and having the gift certificate, no way I would have afforded it. I have a copay for the homeowner's insurance for the tree that fell on my A/C compressor. (I've finally stopped sweating for today, in this Florida weather!)

OK, guess I should join here and get my number. I have 2 combos, a Rumble Studio 40 for home practice and playing around with models and effects, as well as a Stage 800 for .... other stuff. Here they are together.
The red Aria is currently with one of my grandsons (both play bass too) and has been replaced by a G&L JB.

My second (bass) combo came in today (along with a new A/C after the old one was crushed by a tree!
!) The new combo is a Rumble 40 from the Labor Day Sale and a gift card.

I've been playing around with the controls and occasionally comparing it to the other two amps.
Of course I'm still on the NRD Honeymoon stage, but so far, it is definitely a keeper!

Thank you for the membership, Miles. I started playing bass many years ago, in HS, after playing saxophone for about 6 years. Played in local garage bands at the (very) occasional local bar or house party. Had a Univox amp back then (not a combo). After not really playing for many years (always had a bass, but not an amp) and would sometimes not pick my bass up at all for years at a time, I finally got back into it during COVID. Did some research and decided to buy my Yamaha bass and Fender Rumble Studio 40. When I started trying to get a band together, I realized I was quickly overpowered by the guitarists and bought the Stage 800.
Still trying to get the right group of musicians for the band. Haven't played out yet. Every time we seem close to ready, something happens to break things up. With the latest lineup, the lead guitarist had severe blood clots and had to have surgery (won't be playing for a while), and the other guitarist is moving 60 miles away. Not conducive to keeping the band together. Still working with the lead singer and auditioning others to try to find something that works.
Last rehearsal, the guitarist we're currently trying out turned up has amp a bit. I had to set the volume on the Stage 800 all the way to .... 9:00! (Maybe 9:30)
That was without an external cabinet. These things are amazing. I'll never run out of power.

My latest combo, or "How To Have Neat Stuff In A Very Small Space..."
It looks as if it's only two speaker cabs, but in reality the top one is a PJB 120w 2x5 combo. Having a PJB 2x5 extension cab underneath it then makes it a 240w 4x5 rig!
~Nicely made gear, this PJB stuff! ~Sounds real good too! (Not inexpensive tho...)
Both the combo and the short scale BGs are on wheeled bases for easy access in rolling them out of the nook they're located in. And there's a vibration dampening mat on the dolly under the combo...

That's one of my Line 6 Lowdown 110 combos in the center (the other is in the car for gigs). Don't be fooled by the head on top of it. That's from what was a combo amp, the larger Lowdown 150. (As a combo it weighed 68 lbs. so I split it and recab'ed both parts in pine. That Line 6 fiberboard weighed a ton.)
On the left is a combo amp, but a guitar amp - a hand-built Champ - and to the right is my 2x8 Trace Elliot cab.

Found my 59ri factory relic combo today while digging through storage, have not laid eyes on it in in many years and now needs some attention, but still plays!
