Merry Christmas to me! Awaiting a N(U)AD of the older, bigger brother to my Ashdown Studio 8:

It's a AAA Five 15 100 watt (125 watts depending on source) 1X15" combo. It's not the Electric Blue 180 or the BB, but it should more than suffice for the time being. If I need more, I'm looking at a possible second one and daisy chaining it like the R100s.

We need a Combo Club Convention (C3) where members bring their combos and a favorite bass or two, and we all play through all the combos. One special event would be comparing (e.g.) two, three, or four of these against two, three, or four R100s. It’s not a shootout, because it’s not about winners and losers, but experiencing what’s out there (are you experienced?), trying new things, seeing and hearing what our brethren and sistern are seeing and hearing, having a good time, playing bass, getting to experience each other in the analog world, etc.

IDK if I've mentioned it b4, but I once hooked up the R200c>R112 + 200c EFFECTS Send>KASINO!(I would not be bringing that to a C3)

I’d be down if it can be on the left coast. Or a cruise would be cool!

Being we're in the middle of a holiday celebration and new members have been added of late, I thought it'd be a good time to run the current roster of this here incredible club. Check out our latest additions or wander down Memory Lane looking up some old acquaintances. I'm challenging all members to find us at least nine more bass-playing comboites (yes, 'dog, that's a word I just added to our official club diktionary) so that we may reach 150. Solid number, I should say. Let's do it! :hyper:

HAPPY NEW YEAR, ALL YOU COMBO HEADS!!!

(I thought it was combo-ites):cautious:

Happy New Year, whomsoever you may be! :D
