Which is what makes it special. The 200's 15"er with the R115 Cab puts out 200 watts. Two 15s and 200 watts is something to behold...I would still have mine if I was playing out.
I recently sold my ampeg cab after I picked up a fender stage 800 with extension cab. I also have a studio 40 and a hartke kb 12. The last year I have been running a di2112 direct. So, I use the kb12 whe I need a little back line bass. Most paying gigs I'm on in ears and don't even use an amp. If you need an amp the Fenders are quite incredible.

The 200 is 140 watts continuous (just like RMS) into its internal 8 ohm 15" Eminence speaker and 200 watts into 4 ohms (with an 8 ohm extension), preferably the identical speaker in the Rumble 115 cab. That's right, the 300 watt rated 15" speaker in the 115 cab is also in the 200 combo. Such identical stacked speakers also benefit from the "coupling effect"!

The catch there is of course the additional price. At $329 the 100 isn't that big a spend. At $579, the 200 is pricier for sure. Are there other substantial diffs aside from power, speaker, and speaker jack? Difficult to say for sure without knowing more . Strings/tuning. Room size & acoustics. Is drummer caged? Can/do they control their volume?
My Rumble 100 is plenty for my basses (4 string D standard tuning) at our small church with mostly reflective surfaces, a mic’d cajon or djembe, and electric & acoustic guitars (plus one to four vocalists) all run through the PA (i was DI’d only once). Gain around noon, volume about 9 o’clock, eq flat.
i would love to try that purple Orange but haven’t seen one in the wild. If you could hear a volume difference between that and the R40, it would be mainly because of speaker efficiency and/or cab design differences. 40 to 50 watts is a negligible power difference.

My combo combo - two R100s chained via FX send/receive. The two normally sound better than one, but the newer one has started making random popping noises. I’m waiting to hear back from Fender…

I played through @13bass's R100, daisy chained to my R100 last Sunday. Sweet. If I hadn't bought my R200c first-mostly because of the extension speaker capability-and if I'd known about the daisy chaining 'trick', I'd have gotten the R100 and then another R100. Use 1 when that's enuff, both when needed.

Easter gig at a local watering hole last night. Peavey TNT 115S, got for a price I'm ashamed to disclose, short-money trip to the tech, and it's *the* gig machine. I don't much mind the 90lbs for what it delivers- pretty brainless dialing-in and it's clean, retro rock tone, punchy and not-too sweet. Might be the best sounding amp I've used in recent years, except for the big rig (Fender Bassman Pro 300/Ampeg fridge).
Gonna put some side-handles on it- as usual, Peavey cheaped-out on the small stuff! Try getting this tank around with just a top-handle, lol...
