What would be the best way(other than a "Y" cable-which I can get)? The Kasino, being ancient, has no effects loop, just instrument input. I'd prefer to not blow anything up.

Small mixer with inserts (or sends) on every channel... set each amp individually. If you have long instr cables you can set amps up in acoustically strategic places, like windows, or under living rooms of adjoining upstairs apartments.

I’m limited in the ”Frankensteinian” Method you request, but I’d say the Y-cable is your only way to connect both amps safely. Could you plug into the Rumble rig first and then run a cable from your out to the Kustom’s input? Would there be an advantage/disadvantage doing it that way?

The biggest disadvantage of the Y cable is finding one 10'(+)1/4" ts male to 2 1/4" ts male. It seems they(whoever) have everything but. I figure to plug into the 200c/112 and outta effects 'send' to the Kasino(turned Way down) would be the easiest.

Agreed, which is what my second thought was. My question though is how much effect will you get from the Kasino being hooked up that way? If you were actually trying for fun, would you hear enough of the big combo to be worth it? I’m not saying don’t try it, but don’t be surprised you’re not impressed overall. Still, it’s slways fun to plug cables into jacks!

Should I use the power amp in that way I just use the volume on pedal?

OK. So I hooked it all up: 5 string EpiBird>Rumble 200c/R112> Kasino. Gain and volume on 200c @ 9,tones flat, volume on Kasino also @ 9(same configuration-8ish is off). OMG! If I ever need stupidly loud and bass-y......

Run the Sansamp into the effects return (in). Set the pedal to Unity - Unity is when the line level out is the same as your line level in when the pedal is either engaged or disengaged.

Or go straight through your Peavey's input. That will provide you with both gain and master controls. There will be some tone shaping that is the Peavey sound even with all EQ set flat. How much the Peavey's preamp actually effects the end result depends on what is "flat". Likely some Peavey experts who are able to provide those settings, depending on model and year.

In a Fender Rumble Talk an unnamed Fender insider is quoted saying, "Technically you can run the SEND to the second amp INPUT (there is no risk of damage), but the line level signal at the SEND may overdrive the input stage so you will need to reduce the GAIN on the second amp. And re-amping the signal this way will allow one to use the second preamp controls, but may not produce the desired results so it is up to the individual."

Ya really know how to rub it in, don't ya? And I'm sure it's well-deserved time too. I can't imagine what it must be like to actually plan the events of your own day instead of planning the events of other people. Three years and change to go...

Let us know how it turns out, GP. I'm kind of curious now to see if you hear anything unique out of the experiment. One thing I can predict is that there'll be a lot of bass frequency in the room!
