The Combo Club

An interesting post regarding a faulty switch on a Rumble 100 in the post link provided. After reading his complaint I would say it probably relates to most Rumble amps irrespective of whether its a 15 or an 800..G Doggy has had a glance at the issue but Doggy scours everywhere for Rumble posts loll
Give the entire post a read guys and gals as there was a second complaint on the same posting from another reader...I also posted in the Rumble Club.

Issues w/ Fender Rumble 100

Also interesting that another in that thread with the same symptom fixed his himself with a $4 part!

Penguins at 40 C

sounds like medic tents
Lol yep Morri..sounds odd but 50 miles south of Adelaide is a small island with a colony of Fairy penguins..the staff will be needing to keep them cool although they have open range to the sea..they just sleep on the island at night and hunt in the sea during the heat of day...hardy little survivors..unlike me loll

Next week our heatwave temperatures in the north of Adelaide are...
Mon. 16th - 38C degrees,
Tue. 17th - 42C degrees,
Wed. 18th - 43C degrees,
Thur. 19th - 44C degrees,
Fri. 20th - 46C degrees.
Jesus. Christmas at 46°C, that's insane. Thanks god we've got 45°C less. Atm it's raining, raining, raining. It didn't stop the last 72hrs. Hopefully Santa sends some snow for Christmas.

Yep...we did that. CO approved uniform exception that allowed us to cut off dungaree uniform pants into shorts and just wear those and t-shirts when out at sea.
I'll let you know next Fri 20th if we hit that projected 46C and break your 45C from the Persian Gulf Biggie...i'm hoping the weather forecasters are wrong but going by heat experiences here the past few years I bet it will be the proverbial Aussie Stinker as we call those boiling hot summer days lolll

That was after I "downsized". Before that I was running that Traynor into two Fender bottoms: a 2X15 and a 4x12.:)

"Big" and "Man" sounds like what's required for a 2x15 and 4x12. "Ugly" is just a bonus. For example, two bass players I know enjoy arguing why only they were entitled to the nickname "Dogface".

I added one of these guys back into my stable. I’ve had B100’s in the past and I’ve really been missing this little workhorse. $289 at online from GC. Great sounding with a small footprint.

That is such a kicking little combo!

Driving thru Pecos, Texas on vacation one summer, decades ago. I thought the ambient temperature on the dashboard must surely be wrong at 113° (45c). But, when we got out at a fruit stand we became believers in a hurry! Continued on to Carlsbad, New Mexico for some relief in the 90s. :woot: Went to a drive-in movie there that night and got chilled to the bone!

Hey @DrMole are you acquainted with my part of the world..have you lived here previously? South Aust, further down south of SA, penguins etc. Just wondering loll
I thought you should take a cruise to even further south- many degrees of latitude. I realize you run out of continent rather quickly from your locale ( thus my prior edit after realizing how truly SOUTH you already are;))

Guess my point is your only option may be to go closer to the pole.

That was an interesting read on the "grid saving battery".
Best wishes for cooling and electrical relief
