The Combo Club

Sorry @EssEll that I had to take off last night (my time in South Aust) as Australia is dealing with the most extreme bushfires and I had a fire burning over the hill behind us so I had to run...I'm glad you took my advise to hang around...I see that you have had a lot of responses that I expected you would receive, so thats great and you are amongst a great group of Combo owners with heaps of info in the forum itself, as well as written Wiki notes that one of our members G-Dog (Doggy to everyone) has compiled, so have fun within the club, hopefully cope with our humour as well and enjoy the in-depth discussions regarding all types of Combo amps. Any questions..just ask. You are among a wealth of knowledge.
To all those who wished us well in our fire engulfed State..thanks all..things are quiet again for now but with a top temp of 44C today fire authorities expect things to flare up so they are putting out the call to leave our homes now while we can if living in a fire risk area...which luckily our home is not. Its not that bad so far in my State but anything is possible today...its only 8.30am and temp. is building to that expected 44C. So thanks all for your concern..as usual if I disappear its likely a power cut due to heat or fire prevention. Anyway i'm here for the time being lol.
Enjoy your experiences with the Combo Club EssEll.

Stay safe, Giff...

Yeah..If Mike makes it to Australia we will have a drink in the local pub with all my macho musician mates and we'll call him Sparkles loll

Ya know, I was wondering what you guys were hassling me about and so I went back to the pic and now get it.

All I can say is it takes a well-adjusted, confident person to take pride in his wife’s sparkle cup. So yes, Giff, I will bring the cup with me to Oz and expect a serving of your village’s finest brew!

Loll Morri...I totally agree..he sold South Aust that giant battery of his under the Tesla name. Its about 100 miles north of us here and cost 100 million..yet to be realised as a backup power source in my opinion..a waste of money..but we'll see.

Wow! It generates so much heat that it needs all those fans to cool it off.

Sounds quaint. Probably a fair number of gigs available, I’m guessing. I hear Tasmania is beautiful this time of year!
Yep true Mike..but they have their own share of bushfires too from news reports we've had.
All up though everybody, the animal losses due to all fires in all states of Australia so far total 1/2 BILLION deaths. Animals, including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birds, reptiles etc etc and the list goes on as does the terrible accounting.

A UK Newspaper report....
Nearly half a billion animals have been killed in Australia wildfires | Metro News

I grieve for you and those in your land, Giff. My fears are Oceania may be the first undeniable evidence of the catastrophic events that were supposed to be 30-50 years from now. I pray it’s not, as I do for what happened in our California, but you can only come with so many excuses before you have to realize what is.

That being said, I’d love to pile up the plane with all our TB friends and visit you sometime!
