I think wombats are cuter than groundhogs. We had a groundhog living under our deck for the last couple years. Poor thing never gets asked to dance.

Yup - Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5-string. Still my all time favorite bass and I had it from when I was roughly 30yrs. old to 40yrs. old. but as it was over 10.5lbs, I just had to sell it as I couldn't handle the three 45mins. sets with it.
I've been on the hunt for another main bass for the last 4 years and I think I've found it with a Lakland 55 02 - pic attached.

He said the peavey combo was great but the Trace elliot Combo is what he is ordering.
He said he simply can't even understand how they got soo much low end out of the 8 inch speakers .and for it be so easy to transport hes getting it just to go with the Ernie Ball bass hes buying.
He also said the cabinet seemed very durable, its coated with something but hes not exactly sure.
Hes back today so If he sends a pic of the combo I'll post it here.

Thank you for the update. It does seem incredible what that eight will do, but it has a solid pedigree and has been a winner for them. Advise your buddy to add the 2 x 8 cab and then have the three eights and 200 watts. Gig-ready!
BB, my eyes see the girth of that Stingray as you were playing it. Great tone, I’ll bet. Your Lakeland looks nice as well and I’m guessing is a fine player too.
BTW, your number arrives today! UPS was held up ‘cuz of the snowstorm...
Anyone had a chance to do a comparison of the Rumble 100 v3 and the GK MB112ii?
Hello Balog, how are ya? You have a number of Rumble owners here and those who also rock GK, but I’m trying to remember if we’ve had a showdown between the two.
I have not played any of the larger series II combos, but did own the 108 for a while. Nicely put together and a pretty decent amp for, at the time, a reasonable amount of money. The latest price hikes made me lose my interest. Nothing against them sound wise, and you get their 200-watt amp along with.
The Rumble 100 has a very different tone to it; more old school where the MB-112 II is of more modern decent. You can vary the Rumble with a number of preamp options, but it doesn’t stray too far from its heritage.
They both have their advantages and disadvantages like everything we own here, but if you end up with one of them I think you’ll enjoy it.
Tell us your musical style, current playing situation, and tastes in sound. That’ll help those who post into this thread.
