I know there's a lotta x-over between Rumble Club and here, but I'll put these up any way. Recorded by a friend last night(6/13/20*). JT62, JT62

Thoroughly enjoyable, Mr. Plaid, but do you know the coolest thing I noticed? Not musical, but due to the close quarters, besides the lack of social distancing, was the fact in the first song there was a perfect reflection of you to your right and HE was left-handed. I literally saw our buddy, GP, as a lefty playing his 'Bird. I want that bass!

As for the tunes, they were both good, especially your walking in M the K. Plenty of pep for a guy who is grumping about the seagulls on his hat. Didn't you mention you had a sub? Was it the rhythm guitarist? He seemed fine. It was nice seeing live music being played with dancing too.

Also, the schmackeroon has tanked and is now worth less than a plugged peso. However, the current exchange rate is very favorable in the eastern bloc countries, so if you can find anything good over there, it may be worthwhile. I understand Yugo is making some very nice combos with *ahem* surprise stage effects. Something to do with the factory in Chernobyl, no doubt...

Great post, Recon, you're definitely getting in the spirit of this here club. And, congratulations on being our 10,000th victim...I mean, poster of a fine witticism. It's taken over five years to reach this watermark and I congratulate you on doing it.

We're in the five-digits now folks...yippee! Now, where's our 200th member? Come on ya'll, dig someone up!

John, the guy in the hat, was our guitarist in the previous version of the band. Our guitarists are equally adept at rhythm and lead. As mentioned in other threads, we have never rehearsed together with John, but we all know the same [stuff] though sometimes in different keys. I'm beginning to think it's the one common thread most of us share which may ultimately save this civilization from extinction.

Yeah, I got one of those too, but only when climbing up the stairs. If I can get to your age and be playing like you are I’d be a happy man. Here’s to ya, Mike!

Rumble Update: even in the middle of the night, when there’s news, or in this case a revision, you have to get it out to the people. Here it is:

I was incorrect on the weight of the Rumble 115 cab. After doing extensive research this evening I compared dimensions between that and the 210 cab. While the 210’s numbers are in lockstep with the Stage’s, the 115’s, as you know, are not. No biggie.

But while earlier I said the 115 was ten lbs lighter at 29, I was wrong. After further review I found out the two weigh exactly the same, 39 lbs. One advantage I gave the 115 at the time was weight, but since that is no more then I’d have to admit the 210 has pulled ahead in the race for both my affections and my wallet.

That is all. Pleasant dreams...

Given the 210 weighs a third of what I used to haul ... and it's true the PJB BG-800 weighs as much as a cutter, it does have its own telescoping handle and wheels. The PJB C8 cabs come the same way. To hear tell, the experience of 2 C8s or the BG-800 is intoxicating.

The reality here in month three or four of the Thing That's Going Around is a Rumble 100, PJB Double Four, Foxy Voxy — well, we're not exactly lined up to play stadiums now, are we?

Ah! But, regrettably, the collector's value of a single S&H Greenstamp, as established on a new Antiques Roadshow, has just recently exceeded two shmillion shmackeroons! And, due to your winnings, and a tie in the aforementioned '60s Bassists Club Best Gig Story Contest, and the over-generosity of the head of The Rumble Club Trivia! department in that contest, their schmackeroons account is now bordering on default, depending on the current trading trends.

But take heart. With your winnings you can afford to watch your local garage sales for any S&H bargains to be had! Why, just last week one shrewd collector scored a nearly full book for the equivalent of a mere 250,000 schmackeroons! So, good luck, and happy hunting.

Iago, you noticed "the shadow bassman" they keep around for playing psychedelic backwards parts, like Beatles stuff. I found a rare photo of him taking a backwards solo, for your drooling pleasure.

Iago, as a long time member of The Rumble Club, I'm surprised you didn't go straight to the Rumble Summary Info chart on the Rumble Club Wiki page, linked in my signature, for dimensions and feature comparisons. There are also photos of Rumble combos with the 115 cab, in various positions, for your visual consideration. The 410 and 115 cabs were introduced at the same time as the combos without regard to OCD users. The 210 and 112 cabs corrected that oversight several months later. You can blame the popularity of the OCD-approved 210, if not the 112, for its price increase over the 115.

I was born lefty. At age 4.5 I broke my left arm at the elbow. Since this was in ~1950, I had the big ole plaster cast for 6-7 weeks, during which time my right became dominant. I still do some things lefty including dealing cards, which gets some raised eyebrows

And let this be a lesson to you newbies out there (and a few of us oldbies too). G’Dog supplies all of us all with more info than you can shake an instrument cable at. My next suggestion would be to embed audio examples of said Rumble amps. What do ya think, ‘Dog? Is that feasible?

Nice! I’m going to have to pay a re-visit there. I usually just go there to see if pictures of myself, but I may have to actually read and listen to what’s there.

Received the okay for ordering the Fender cab (oh yes, even FLs still have to ask permission). Waiting for my first Ampeg payment. Could be this week.
