Might any inquire ...
Two weeks ago I recorded from the DI in the PJB BG-400, and today I recorded from the DI in the Elf.
To my ear, the difference is like asking if Chunky Monkey or Cherry Garcia is better.
Should any want the executive summary without going back through [BigNum] posts, Bass -> HPF -> [Amp] -> PreSonus USB 96 -> computer. Oops there's a MXR Vintage Bass Octave in front of the HPF with a very modest (~1-db) bump @ 400 hz (octaver off). All recorded with the Win 10 Camera/Video with the monitor's Webcam and the DAW as the audio input. So pretty raw. And not very interesting to post here as it's just a technical study on E flat major.
More interesting is the entire process of preparing and performing. Recording myself playing on video was down at the bottom of my bucket list. What good of it is there'll be a video I will be happy to link to my Website come November-ish.
No telling what's going on out there, or what November will look like. All I know is with gatherings highly limited, a recording is the way to go. A skill in itself I never would have taken on,
but this is 2020
