I met someone and fell in love again. First time since the separation. That's been keeping me busy. Even my basses have been feeling ignored.

Combo Club bylaws require transparency if oobleck is utilized.

She definitely knows her bylaws. The one M speaks of is under Article D (as in don’t be a dummy), Paragraph 2 (as in 2 much cornstarch makes for bad voodoo), Line IV (as in beIV I ever waste another combo on a science experiment I’ll get my head examined).

Never thought I'd meet someone during a pandemic, but it happened. We actually met when she was my student ...What!? We started seeing one another over a year after she graduated, though. She was an older student, so we are close in age and both separated with kids. So we have a lot in common. Things look very promising.

Whew, I was wondering just how liberal Canada’s laws were...

That’s music to my ears. I feel a little like a matchmaker. I just had a feeling the PJB would match up well with the Mouse, especially for folk or light jazz.

Gig tonight @ the 'jazz' club. TBird(or EB-0)>R40. Prolly a mix of OTR&R and jazz/blues. Small audience, smaller pay.

Update: Gig wound up being all jazz/blues. Set up my mic, never used it(no need-not even harmony). Space is tight so I wound up taking just the EB-0. At that 'venue' I'm to the drummer's right, so headstock vs cymbals issues. They'd moved the piano so now there is sufficient room. Next time[if there is a 'next time'*, TBird].

*I think there were a total of 7 customers last night-not all at once. IDK how it can keep going.

Sorry to hear about that, GP. I hate the headstock vs. cymbal battle. Of course, I was on the other side in my drumming days. The guitar players were bad enough, but our bass player’s massive headstock off his Peavey bass (late seventies/early eighties, I think) was like a wrecking ball smashing into my cymbals!

Zoé Bésame Mucho or Kiss me a lot....very popular latin song done in a very ‘haunting’ style in this live concert.
From what I can tell, the bass guy was not the original in the band (that was Angel Mosqueda shown right handed on a Rick), Denise Gutierrez sings with León Larreguí on this 2012 set. The band started out in ‘93 and gelled in ‘97. VERY popular alt Rock group in the latin world.
