Whenever I call my SW guy, he’s never in anyway. I think I’ve talked to just about everyone else there. But, I always get these cheery emails from him thanking me.Customer service isn't.

My guy(Jeff Bohan)almost always answers or calls right back; emails me with info on [stuff] I've been considering, checks to see I'm still around. This latest bit from someone else is sorta un-cool, IMO.
EDIT to clarify: I emailed Jeff. Other guy answered.

Not from me. Never said it was bad service. I must be calling on his days off and I like my info in the here and now. But, you can always ask someone else at SW who is there. I was just mentioning it as a funny thing. Recently, I actually waited 3 extra weeks for SW to get a Boss effects box to arrive before I had to buy from someone else. No sir. This is not the first time I have given them the first nod and waited out of loyalty.
.But it’s all good because I like them.

I just checked my meds..couldn't find any Snuff..just as well cause it makes me sneeze and at 70 now I could likely blow my plectrum outta my mouth and blind the drummer. I gave up ciggies too lollClose. He wanted make sure my snuff was up to my meds.

They're all in catch-up mode, baby. They know you have millions in Covid money stashed away and they want it. I don't blame ya for waiting. If enough ship and you hear some decent reviews, then buy one. Otherwise, as Mick says, time is truly on your side. I myself am waiting one full year before the next bass purchase. That'll be the retirement present from me, my favorite benefactor. The question is, do I go for the Hofner as previously mentioned, or do I make a grab for the Epi Jack Cassidy hollow-body? Hmm...decisions decisons.

Obviously, I don’t know Jack...his last name is spelled Casady! The bass guitar is pretty nice though. Of course, my true love is the short scale so the Hofner is still in the driver’s seat.
But I digress, I have way bigger news tonight...hang on.
It’s New Amp Night, CC! The Rocket Bass rolled in this morning, but wasn’t opened until after supper. I haven’t played it yet, that’s coming up, but I did take a few pics after pulling it out of the plastic. I think it was mentioned earlier in this thread, but this amp is beautiful; way better looking than the images you’ve seen here or elsewhere.
It’s quite lightweight, looks well-built, and is begging to be played. Yamaha, I rolled the dice on ya and am expecting a winner! I’ll report this weekend if I can.
