Prolly from the way I useta hold the steering wheel in the big truck(s). Right hand to shift or hold the CB mic.Preach it, Man! My left thumb and I aren’t even on a first name basis any longer. It is interesting that it’s both our left thumbs, yet we play opposite. I blame it on my anchoring the neck pickup. What caused yours?

Well no one can fault ya for that. The fact you’re still playing bass at gig level gives us all hope.

Update update: not my regular SW tech is kinda pushing me to "get on a list" for when the Embassy's come in. Nope. Not while I'm still mulling over whether it's really a good idea to get one. I don't actually 'need' it. Emailed back "I'll pass-for now." First time I've felt any pressure from them.Well, crap. New update from SW says late July instead of late June. Kinda puts a crimp in the plans for a new 'combo feeder'. Oh, well. Goes along with my theory of existence: LSTYD.

I'm a lifelong musician, and music industry professional for almost 30 years.
6 or 8 weeks ago I emailed SW asking if they could order a neck from fender CS(I know you can't now). Now this person Deanna Hopper from SW finally answers---
"Thanks again for reaching out regarding the Geddy Lee Custom Shop neck! Unfortunately, those necks are not available for aftermarket sale.
At Sweetwater we work one on one with our customers to provide you the highest level of service possible.
