Thank you, my rocking bass buddy from the Great White North.
I hope I’m not the only club member who yaps about his birthday each June, but if I am then I’m issuing a proclamation that you need to let us know when your special day is so we can celebrate it with you!

So did you figure my riddle? Hint: it’s a known fave of yours much like shrimp.
Supposedly will be in at end of June. May be able to 'retire' 1967 Gibson 'cept for special occasions.

I remember you talking about an Epi bass but I can’t remember exactly what it was. Maybe an SG-style? Or was it a non-reverse ‘Bird? Re-spill the beans.
My gift is also coming late June, it’s a Rumbler 100 replacement, has my favorite tone, and may “rocket” me to the next level of sonic bliss.

Okay, I took it seriously and tried in earnest. My first three words were, gratitude, lessons, and strength. So what’s it mean, M? All I could come up with is that I’m grateful that my daily lessons are strong. Hmm, maybe there’s something to it...
Not before, maybe after a 'getting used to it' time.

I’m assuming our eyes are finding words that we tend to see more often. Word recognition and association, possibly.

Being able to play bass — I mean, actually playing bass — is something I hold in gratitude.
That Epi Embassy is packing Thunderbird pickups, and to hear tell they are very good indeed. A Thunderbird and a Casino combo .... there was a short scale Thunderbird on the TB classifieds some while back, and had to pass. My purchase today has nothing to do with bass other than something to wear for the camera. Maybe it arrives by Friday? I've a date with the camera and a whole lot of
What I'm doing exactly is using my BA108v2+ combo, iReal Pro on the smrtphn, and a set of headphones to practice improvisation on the circle of fifths.

That gratitude you feel is right on target. I’m grateful that I not only play but enjoy it as much as I do and now count on that playing to keep me sane in an insane world.
