Middle English!!!! Our teacher was kind enough to have us read Chaucer in that! One tale only, and only a couple of pages etc. but I Loved it- all the history etc!!! Here’s a Saxon (pre Norman, <1066)…

Nope, Lovey, Ampeg.com says the RB-115 combo is 22.4 x 20.2 x 13.94 in. (3.6 cu.ft.) and 34 lbs., while the Portaflex PF-115LF cab is 23.5 x 22.75 x 17.5 in. (5.4 cu.ft.) and 55.8 lbs.

The seeming "disconnect" in sizes (115) is 23 x 19 x 14 in. (3.5 cu.ft.) and 34.5 lbs., while the seeming "disconnect" in sizes is 20.75 x 23 x 14.5 in. (4.0 cu.ft.) and 39 lbs. That's actually quite a bit closer in size and weight!

The Rumble 115 cab was designed and released (along with the new V3 heads & combos) the same time as the Rumble 410 cab, which is the same length and width. They were probably more intended for the 200 & 500 heads at that time. The 210 and 112 cabs, which are the same length and width as the 200 & 500 combos, were released a year later. Thus the Invalid Link Removed you observe. Of course anyone could put a 115 driver in the same box as a 210 cab but, alas, I haven't seen that. (I don’t think there's a good way to put 4 x 10"s in a box the same width and length as the 200 & 500 combos, it'd be too tall.) So much for our OCD!

Ahhh. I meant a new Rocket Cab Mr G ( I thought that was the final discussion but with me, I could be reading what I want to). The existing one at 55 lbs is way over my weight limit. And your analysis makes perfect sense.

The irony is that once it gets below 60 degrees no one really wants to hang outside anyway. So why should it matter if it’s a little colder?

What a sweet little combo, Datty! And an actual tube pre-amp bass amp, with real ports in the back, too! Not like those very old Bassman TVs, and even the new Custom '59 Bassman amps with open backs that are really more for 6-string guitar. And 150 watts at just 38 lb.s is none too shabby at all.

I dig it man. I've had the TV15 for a decade and dig that too. So, I've always been on the lookout for the TV10, it'll sit in the 3 piece blues band perfectly. And it'll ride on the back of the motorcycle just fine. I've played a lot of gigs with my Carvin 100 watt 1x10 combo, so I have no doubts about this cutting the mustard. Plus it'll look so much more cool on stage. It's a sweet score and killer combo...

Did three years in Anchorage. The weather there wan't bad. We had more snow in western NY but of course the snow lasted for months in Anchorage. Temp wise I experienced -33F at Galena. Now Fairbanks? Those folks really got the cold. Heck with that mess.

I have no problem with snow. Humidity is the worst thing about East coast winters. Still, it is not 6 months of cold.

The humidity is a pain. Especially the mosquitos. That’s one thing I preferred in CA, very few mosquitos!

yes this was long ago. ... ...

Also long ago. A high school English teacher made her classes read this aloud as a group, then taught us the translation, line by line, then we each had to recite it(!) to her alone, thank goodness. Those who didn't enunciate it to her satisfaction had to repeat it to her alone the next day(s) until they did.

I still have the first half memorized and recite it every several years, or so, when I want to annoy people! The only other thing I remember about her was her retort to classroom troublemakers, "A pox on you!", which I also occasionally use.

We shall see what we shall see, Lovey. The RB-115 and -210 do share the same length & width, so some RB-extension cabs could, possibly, match that for OCD compliance.
