You southerners complaining about winter is a hoot. Try living north of the 56th parallel in Canada. I am a child of the North for sure.
My Nana and Grandpa lived in Waterville Quebec. Eastern Townships near Sherbrooke. We drove up from Boston where I lived every Christmas. Sometimes more dicey than others!! This before Interstate built, sooooo.
All the way up Rt 3 past North Conway, Indian Head and Clark’s Trading Post, more railroad crossings than you could shake a stick at to cross the border near Newport, Vermont to arrive in Quebec!
. That childhood and eight more years in Northern Vermont have my membership card firmly punched!
Best time to ski us when it’s -17F out. No lines at lift, brilliant sunshine, and too cold to snow!
