Speaking of heavy. That’s me circa 1985. That cabinet my stuff is sitting on is a Traynor bass cab monster. Had a 18” reflex speaker dual ports. On the front was two 6” speakers on a baffle between the ports. That was paired with a Traynor mono block B 400 watt monster amp that sat on top. The amp had to weigh at least 50lbs. That cabinet was easily 100 lbs. all 3/4“ plywood build. It got to heavy to haul around. I pulled of the tolex. Put wood veneer on it and turned it in to a piece of furniture. Built a new grill. Put it in my studio to hold stuff while I played through it. Weirdly I wish I still had that.

Thank ya, Sir! Say, is that a Pioneer receiver I spy? If not, it’s gotta be one of the big heavy hitters circa late 70s to mid-80s. Just curious. Hi-Fi was my game for five years before heading back to college.
