That's a real looker, though the pickguard doesn't quite follow the shape of the body on the lower half (or the body is rounded deeper at that point)\
Also fretboard looks like it is thirsty for some oil! Or perhaps its just the camera washing out the color.

Now that you mention it, the body doesn't always have the same spacing after the pickguard, but I doubt anyone would notice that without actually looking for it, I like the pickguard shape though.

It does need to be cleaned, but the picture makes it look worse than it is, I've ordered new strings and I'll get someone to set it up properly aswell as clean it and change the strings for me.

Well, I've always liked their headless models; poor man's Steinberger. Found this one on CL for $100 bucks. Nice shape, w/ original soft case- good deal.

Of course, after springing for a strap, new set of LaBella flats, and some DeMarzios I picked up here, it's more like a $300 bass. But still, it feels great, sounds fantastic, and will make a killer travel bass. Plus it looks kinda strange, that works for me.

So, anyone keeping track of membership?

Nice buy, that bass looks great for metal.

I layed down the deposit and ordered my Cort A5 Custom Z today. Will have the rest of the cash flow in 2 weeks and have booked in a day of leave to pick it up!

This should go very nicely with my GB34A and MIA Deluxe P.

Will post a couple of picks in a couple of weeks and join this club GDI! :bassist: :D

Heya. Have enclosed a picture of my GB34A, which was/is my first bass.

I ordered and put down a deposit in an A5 Custom Z this week and will have it in my grubby hands in a couple of weeks, and will post some better pictures then.

Now.... who dishes up my membership number? :D

Hi, i was very dissapointed when i found that the Cort treated their employs like garbage, im also owner of a korean made bass, they don't produce anymore basses in Korea since 2008 i think, they moved to Indonesia.

U can check the link, read all the details and support the workers!! http://cortaction.wordpress.com/

I was too. I had been considering buying another Cort - I own an Artisan A-5 and love it.
I will not purchase another bass made by this company. I began considering a Lakland SkyLine 5501, but now realize that these too are made by the Cort company as well as some Ibanez (I like the ATK), G&L Tributes, some Schecters as well as some Fenders also.
The only way to stop this mistreatment is to not purchase their products... I am going to save up a few more bucks and get a Carvin SB5000. So sad, these workers crafted great instruments. They are no longer employed. The factory was moved to Indonesia.
