Yeah, it’s more for rehearsals for me, rearaly I bring it for small gigs when no space in the car or something…I don’t expect it be perfect, but that E string is so much louder than the rest, I will try the other wing when go back from Brussels.I just thought you get a second one element of the same type. If you connect them in parallel you have the same as the double element SH-950. But if you want to use a double buffer later just unplug the Y-cable and feed the buffers individually before mixing.
I made this with my 5-string Clevinger EUB and the sound is so much better than connecting the piezos in parallel before feeding a single buffer.
Just an idea why it might be better to get a second single element than a new double element pickup.
But I understand that the EUB is more of a rehearsal than an stage instrument to you. It’s the same with my Stagg EUB. Playable but far from perfect.
