They look kind of the same. A little bit. Not at all, actually. I was just trying really hard to play Devil's advocate. It didn't work. They're totally different. Tell your sister that she doesn't know anything.

I always thought Jerzy Drozd looked like Warwicks. With a few hundred in upgrades, the Taurus would likely be indistinguishable from the Streamer. Beats the hell out of thousands. Although the maple body looks awesome. I actually bought a T24 on Ebay with a shell case for $200. That's about $100 for the guitar. I got a T25 with a Badass V, new bone nut, and Gator case for $350. I'm a fan of the Taurus line. Well worth the loot. I think Jerzy Drozd and Warwicks are beautiful, but $$$ counts these days. I've been sort of ill with Jerzy since I suggested the name ORACLE for his new bass, called the ORACLE. Some other jackazz took credit and Jerzy mailed him free stuff. You can go on the forum and see I named the damn thing. I think this has something to do with my love of the T24 and T25. Keep your boutiques.

JimiLL, I've "held" most of the big boys, ie Alembic, Spector, Warwick, and the boutiques. Been playing for quite a while. It all comes down to a preference really. It reminds me of the sound tests when someone will post an SX mp3 track and another bigger name, and the majority of people will pick the SX. No two guitars are the same, don't care if they are made by the same luthier. I go and pick up a $10,000 P at Guitar Center and then go pick up a $200 Squier, and sometimes you cannot tell a difference. Money is one factor. I think the Washburns pissed off a lot of people due to them looking like JDrozd's models. Then they won Bass Player magazine's awards, etc, and it rubbed some the wrong way. The Warwick Bass should be WAAAAAY better. Night and Day. Maybe it is. I am skeptical. I just never dug Warwicks or Spectors. I would take a stock Fender P or J any day and save the cash.
