Ok. You know... I lurk around these threads all week and just when I think I've started to see it all. BAM! That's ok. I actually scored a few "miracles" for some Dead shows. So I believe in positive thinking. :p

True story: today while I was driving to rehearsal, this guy pulled out in front of me and started drive 50 in 55 zone. Now I'm just learning to drive a manual, so slowing down is not really what I wanted to do. As soon as he reaches fifty, he stops and turns without any blinkers, no warning whatsoever. Well I'm mad by this point so to get rid of my frustration I yell out (he didn't here me) : "Well Happy Easter to you, you positive thinking son-of-", and busted up laughing cause I didn't even think when I said it. Needless to say, the rest of the drive was a whole lot more fun.

A quick Off-Topic story regarding "thinking positively" and why I give CTbass the credit I do when it comes to positive thinking.

This is the NPR story that ran this morning for which my wife and I were interviewed - the story is about how the travel and hospitality industry deals with lost items. Over Thanksgiving, we lost one of our cats in our hotel - she was found in the arm of the couch 5 days later. The hotel staff was AWESOME the entire time.

During the time that the cat was missing, I had an e-mail chat ith CTbass&birdsong (Ben) about it and he expressed his usual "positive thoughts." 45 min. later, they'd found my cat. 5 days she is missing, and I talk to Ben and they find my cat WITHIN 45 MINUTES.

So think positively. Even when it seems foolish or ridiculous at times. And make sure to pass the sentiment on to other parts of your lives.

This is your cheesy holiday fluff piece. My apologies if I've nauseated anyone.

I listened to the story and it was great that you were reunited with your cat..... we all love happy endings !!!!:hyper:You never know when that positive thing will happen...but I do know if you continue to do good...better good will come to you...and its a great feeling to help someone especially if they really need it !!!
