The Easter 100

I would get a Spalt bass. The reason is this instrument is so crazy that I'd never be able to justify its purchase myself. As a gift however, it would make me grin like a maniac. I love how you can adjust the body size and I might ask Michael to fit a pair of sliding pickups and a warwick adjust-a-nut too.

Any leftover change gets split between Amnesty International and Greenpeace.

Wow. First time I ever saw those. Looks like a bass an Alien would play. :)

If allowed to dream, the choices of mine are either

- a Birdsong of some kind,
- a Rob Allen Mouse,
- a Fury baritone, tuned in E,
- a Wendler AcoustiCore baritone/Bass VI (if that's possible)
- a Fender CS Bass VI,
- a Fender Jaguar Bass VI
- or a Tacoma Thunderhawk.

Most of these have list prices way below $5000, and what's left will be sent to one or more organizations that help make the world a better place in different ways.

I bet Scott would love to do a Tenor !!!!!:)

Yes, Scott will do a tenor. The Cortofusion prototype was going to a be tenor before I realized that as my primary bass, that was going to pose some problems.

But yes, Scott has agreed to do it before, so I doubt there would be a problem. Of course, I'd probably be better off not speaking for him.

I played tenor last night at our weekly jam and am starting to consider it again as a possibility for my next Birdsong.
