where did you get those control knobs for your t-bird? those are great i want to get some for my traben array

hey delta, i used to be #32 now I'm #31, I changed my sig to reflect it, but why did you move the numbers, instead of assigning the number in question from the guy who quit the club to someone else ???

now everyone who does not see your list re-arranging will be using the wrong #:crying:

I am pretty sure you were always supposed to be #31.

I just looked back and where I posted about EnderZ as #30, you were the very next post. So I figure you are #31. And I was the one giving out numbers, so no one really had a number after EnderZ. I spaced for awhile.

I just went through and numbered people where I saw they had an Epi in their possession, whether they had a pic or not.

Manfred von Richthofen aka The Red Baron.
;)

EDIT:
Looks like I was beat to the punch...I thought a quoted post was the original.:smug:

Oh...and here's mine:

I've had mine for about a month. I bought it for its looks and to use on some 70's classic rock tunes with my band. Set up was horrible "off the rack" and the tone was weak and lifeless, however, lowering the bridge improved the action and the pickups came to life (if yours sounds dull, raise the pups). I first took this to a gig about 2 weeks ago and was floored by the sound of it. I love it.
It is a far different feel from a Fender. There are balance, neck, and picking hand rest issues to work out, but nothing that is a deal breaker. I'm keeping it. I may buy another for mods.

I'm waiting for a chrome 3 point bridge to replace the black one I traded with another TB member to add a little spice to my EpiBird, This thing is going to have a few more mods done to it very shortly.

I like it for what it is as many people will tell you it does do a great job on a lot of music, it is certainly not a GibsonBird piano tone bass "out of the box" but it dosent cost 2 grand either.
if you move the strap pin to the back, it removes the heavy neck feel. the goth is "sexier" due to the satin finish IMO.

The goth is cheesy and pretentious and the normal is...well....normal.

The normal is normal, that is why you need to spice it up a bit. Customize if you will. That is one thing I have always tried to do.

I can keep a bass as pristine as possible in case I decide to sell it in the future, but then you never really get attached because you think you will sell it, and if there are things you don't like and don't fix; you will sell it.
So I figure make it YOUR OWN bass. Modify to make it feel better to you.
Add a thumb rail for comfort and your style play.
Paint it a different color or add some stripes to make it stand out from the "rest of the pack".
Change the bridge and tuners.
Do what you like as long as it is true to YOU!

A bass guitar is an instrument for YOUR play. So why not make it YOUR instrument, special to you.

Got my new baby yesterday. A '96 non-reverse epiphone thunderbird....lovely isn't she? Anyone else with the non-reverse model here?
Sorry about the crappy quality, took the pic with my phone...

crappy pictures mean nothing as long as it people can see it's beauty...lol

it is STILL a very nice older non-reverse, and to your question of anyone else having one...oh wow tons of Tbird threads with a lot of non-reverse pictures in them.

Thanks! I'l try to snap a few photos later.
I call this one a bargain. Absolutely no signs of wear and tear at all, great playability and a good price. I'm already in love with it:smug:

being in "love" only means one thing..GAS is settled for the moment. ( but it won't last long ) :D

I felt the same way when I got my first bird, than another, than another..actually the Epiphone was the last bird I bought. there are a few members who have dozens of birds Gib/Epi whatever, and although I do not have the cashflow like some of these folks, I own 3 heres my Bird-Trio: I know the other 2 are not Epiphones, but they just look good all sitting together in a "flock"... since this picture was taken, ALL the pickguards have been removed to match the theme of the non-pickguard one in the middle.

And 20 points to you for actually having a favorite WWI flying ace! seriously. I was a big fan of his successor, but boy did he muck up things.
