Hi everyone, I'd like to be part of this club!

'84 Gibson Explorer; well used and abused. In my possession since '92. Great bass!

If you don't mind, could you please measure the string pitch (center to center distance) at bridge and at nut? And what is the string nut length? I even emailed Gibson and they don't have a record to check (can you believe it?). So I'd be grateful if you can take 30 seconds and measure them.

Here you go, measured in inches for my convenience :D

Pitch at bridge: 2.25 inches
Pitch at nut: 1.50 inches
Nut length: 1.75 inches

Pitch measurements are outside edges of strings (not center to center), so remove a couple millimeters for exact exactedness.
