You know it, you have plenty of supporters and no one has produced evidence to the contrary.
And there will always be dissention on any controversy no matter how much evidence exists.
There are still folks who actually believe the earth is flat, for ****'s sake. Who would bother to continue to debate with them?
I just don't get what the problem is here.
Edit: Oh yeah, I remember...people LOVE to argue!
I don't argue. and don't be offened but, nothing can take away from my or anyone else's accomplishments.
I should be able to,as i originally did , state some facts about me , my bass,my techniques etc without anyone first assuming I'm , what was the TB term... yeah , a "Troll"
People who didn't make 7 strings before started making 7 strings and money from such an odd bass. Players are now getting recognized when they have a 7 string bass. Some people think that by me saying what i do ,it makes them look bad ,because in there minds , they were the guys who brought us the 7 string bass. i did all the developement and my bass is commercially viable-I play it all the time.
I think they need to know where the bass came from. Some try to allude to the idea they are resonsible for the 7 string bass. if you put in the decades of effort I have on the bass , you might want to correct that misinformation.
When Jauqo posted the question- I waited to see what would happen. I only replied when someone said the had a photo of a 7 from the early 80's. I came on to answer the question , and that's that.
I can accept that some people will not ever acknowledge my claims , but at this point ,as you say , most everyone gets the idea.
i will get my documentation to Ken Smith and we will figure that stuff out,but the point is mute .
