Yes. Configurable cab sim. On board preamp. Effects loops. Phase control. Blend control between input signal and onboard preamp. XLR DI. XLR Parallel DI. AUX in. Headphones out. Headphone volume control. Straight/thru output.

Yep, a lot there. The name comes from the fact that it is a cab SIM replacement amPLIFIER. :D

Once you understand how it works it is easy to use.

I may have an at7 around here somewhere. Aren't those supposed to be lower gain? I think it's an at7? If there even such a thing??

IIRC it comes with an ax7 but I preferred a lower gain tube. But I know nothing about tubes and I’m going off my really bad memory from a few years ago. Stay tuned.

Please do. People care way too much about what they're playing in some of these gear demos, and way overthink it. All anyone wants to hear is what the gear sounds like and what it does to your tone. The possibilities it can open up for you. If I had the ability to record stuff, I'd just play a G major scale or a simple blues bass line or something. Business, fancy playing, crazy background tracks all just distract from the point of the demo . . . how the gear sounds. Simple is better. That's my humble opinion.

I can’t argue with that. The best clips I’ve heard are the simplest.
