Programming can indeed be tricky until you can wrap your head around how the editor works, but you may not actually need to program anything yourself. There's a large library of patches on the Neuro Hub. Pro Tip: if you check them out, make sure to adjust the input/output levels to your specific gear.
I actually really enjoy programming sounds, but haven't had (or maybe "made" might be a better word, sadly?) time to program anything in a while, unfortunately... I've got 9-10 patches like 75-85% done at the moment, just waiting for me to finish up.
