The Great Bass Preamp/DI Comparison

The basswitch is one I would have already owned and tried if not for the size. Same with the Trilobite.
I like that the Trilobite has a completely separate channel. Units like that are worth building a board around "it" actually.
I'm going to check out the Minnow.

With the Arkham Oracle for my main tone, the Trilobite might be interesting using the Oracle plugged into one channel, and then the other channel run completely clean.

That would be a big board though, with the LA-1A, Oracle, Trilobite, and RNDI.

However, I could have a sterile clean channel and then a tube channel with a little saturation or very light overdrive.

Not sure it's worth it for me.

Looks like a lot of knobs and switches. This ole Tennessee hillbilly may not be able to figure it out! :)
Wait until you get to the part of the video where he splits the signal into two parallel loops or something, and is using a looper pedal. It makes my brain hurt.
