I’m good with pink. But I also like the Fender Antigua finish. And anyone who likes that has no taste and probably likes anything.

i've preferred black and natural EBs for so long that it's ingrained, but i've taken to other colors more recently and i'm sure i could get along with any color at this point. pink would be no exception.

if the neck feel, the weight, and the balance are right = the color wouldn't matter.

Would I play a pink bass? Yes. I'm comfortable with my masculinity.
Why are they so popular? Judging from responses so far, they are not so popular.
Why are pink basses manufactured? You only get one guess: Because they can sell them.
Why are they considered cool? Wrong question: Who considers them cool?
I feel like my answers require more sarcasm, but I'm fresh out. Maybe another coffee?

I bought this bass here on the TB classifieds. Not pink but not a color I thought I’d ever own. I just had to have it.

It does look good under stage lights. So pink is in the realm of possibilities. NOT!

I love shell pink. I would 100% have a J bass in shell pink, but I would probably tend to use it based on the music I was playing at the time. (Probably not in a black metal band.) Also, it couldn't be my only bass.

(Full disclosure: I once owned a Kramer Pacer guitar in "pink with magenta peralescence." That was the actual description on the tag.)

I had a pink bass that started out as red but faded to hot pink. I'm definitely manly enough that I can sure rock pink strings.
