Arrived just in time for Xmas for my daughter, found a hello kitty mini strat on eBay. Just finished servicing and setting up, it’s perfect! Now I just need to score the full size kitty strat to complete the set.

On a side note... I think between the Badtz Maru Broncos (myself and @Clem Lushness, perhaps more), @catcauphonic's kitty bass, and @IamGroot's project, we have enough to make this a club... there may be others lurking about... catocasters, too...

To be a member does it count as 'close enough' to have just any old cat stickers on a bass??
I've got all kinds of cat related clothes and paraphernalia, but none of HK... I've always shied away from brand labels or practically anything that was produced en masse, but I love the idea of you all rocking HK basses (never met a cat I didn't like!) >^..^< and, tbh the thought of you going to sleep on your new HK bedding set really makes me smile

I think your Kitty bass would qualify you for membership, were this an actual club. Right now, it's pretty much just a thought-experiment. Dunno what it would take to make it an actual club.

Someone posted one of these free on Craigslist; grabbed it to donate to someone but it’s a nice guitar after I strung and set it up
The inlay stickers hath arriven, and been applied.
All that remains is the neck and setup. The hex slot of the truss rod nut appears to be stripped round, so it will have to go to a shop. I'll also have them try to remove the control panel plate, which is glued onto the body from the paint job. (It was plaid when I bought it)

Now that we are official... I would like to formally put to the floor that as this is a Bass site, and in as much as Katy Perry is more well known to the general public than most of our members in this club, and this is a good thing for our image. She is playing a Guitar and Not a Bass.
I enjoy having her as a member and think she is a good asset for us as a club, but we should have a Bass Player as our Grand Poobah Exemplar.
So I would like to put a motion on the floor that the position of Grand Poobah Exemplar be held by a Kitty/Cat Bass Player and that Katy Perry be just another fine member of our great organization.
DARN IT!!!
Katy Perry is the Grand Poobah Exemplar so she is in charge of this club. We can not pass anything without her presiding over this meeting, or Slash as he is her Number Two. (also guitar)
