I also found something odd, the Ibanez P pickup, rather than having identical coils on each part of the pickup, they are voiced differently on each set of poles: more bassy for the G string and less for the E, and similar for the D and A. How did I find this? I had put the pickup in "backwards," something I have never had to be concerned about with any passive P pickup I've ever used before, it sounded horrid, the G and D were VERY bright, and the A and E were mud!
Dunno if anyone cares, but the SRX690DX in trans gray is being blown out for $349.99 at MF, plus whatever other coupons you can stick onto it. [shrug]
I have no idea if this matches the various eBay store closeout prices from late last year or not.
