Yeah, :D the Pestige basses are really nice. Though I have an SR900 antique violin finish that I love... and I'm looking for ...A BLACK(preferably) OR SILVER IBANEZ EDA900FL (FRETLESS) FOUR STRING BASS, USED, IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IN PERFECTLY GOOD WORKING CONDITION...PM me if anyone wants to get rid of one...PEACE...DAcat

Thought I would upload an updated pic of my SR505 as i've replaced the black tone knobs for maple ones

I played MIJ Ibanez SR-800's for a long time before switching over to Gibson Thunderbirds as my main basses. For a while I was buying a new one every year as a birthday present to myself until they quit making them in Japan. Now these primarily get used for studio work or if I need a fretless, I use my 1990 SR-800FL. I picked it up off E-bay, and it had been given a high quality refinish in white. Looks sharp and plays great.

Nice collection stiles72! I've got an 87' SR800 with that same exact off white/Pearl Color as the first one on your rack and I LOVE it. :)

Any tips on Really cleaning up the finish? It sat for many years(down time), with stickers on it and years of smoke residue I'm sure. I'd like think I can get it back to it's original luster without to much hassle...

Oh can I get a Number? :P

Thanks!

The finish is a poly finish, so it should be pretty resiliant. Maybe use some sort of automotive product?
