Sign me up for the club. Here are my basses. A GSR200 and an AEB10E-BK.

My beloved BTB400 QM, I think it was discontinued the week after I got it

With a few injuries, like being thrown into a drum kit on one occasion & only receiving this

The same can't be said after a near 7 foot drop (intentionally, of course. I'm all about showmanship) after my strap broke at the end of a set so I thought holding it above my head, dropping it & storming off seemed like a good idea

...& yes, that is the missing chunk beside it. Found it on stage an hour later

Anybody selling any ibanez's? I have an SRX 500 I will post pics of, but have major gas for another one. I only have about $350 to spend, and personally don't really care what model it is. I'd like an SR 5 string, or another SRX but 5 sring, but I'm open to really anything. If you have anything for sale, shoot me a PM. Thanks!

Check out Zzounds and American Musical Supply, I think they still have some 5 string SRX's and you can make payments without interest.

Wow, thanks a bunch for the tip. I just checked out ZZ sounds and saw these two 4 stringers that I'm very interested in.

The first one is a 690EX, and the second one is a 690DX. Is the only difference between the two offset fret markers?

They both have the same fret markers (the two links you supplied) but it seems the only differences are cosmetics (colors, hardware) since they both have the same pickups, electronics, body/neck woods, and both are neck-thru with the same style neck.

Yeah, I notice that the offset fretmarkers are on both basses now. I must've been thinking of the SRX 500 which has the regular markers and the SRX 550 that have the offset... My bad.

So you think they would give a different model number based on colour? I believe there is a $10 price difference on the two basses, too. I just find it odd that they would have two different numbers only based on cosmetics.

Oh well. I think I'll pull the trigger on the red one, but I can't really decide just yet. I'll make my order on Monday most likely, I can't wait! Thanks for the help.
