The only one I have found so far was at a GC, and some butthead had broken the G-string and it was missing two knobs... not exactly 'new'.
I'm mainly interested since I've wanted a black and maple soundgear forever, the rosewood looks so boring with black finish IMO.

Looks very similar to my church's bass. Biggest differences being the bridge (ours has the accu-cast b20) and the knobs (cosmo black).

Hey guys I am new to the board and saw this thread and decided to make my first post on it. I have 2 Ibanez basses in my big equipment collection and love them. A BTB 575 and a '81 Roadster. Through my SWR SM500 the BTB is a beast. I run my Roadster through my Glockenklang Heartrock and it sings. The cabs I use for both are Carvin PS12 4x12 bass cabs.

Guess I'd better post a pic too...here' the SR506 with my Corvette $$...I prefer the 506!

I had to return my SR500 today. The neck was bent. Found it when I was installing strap locks on the bass. I took it to the GC where I shop and had them take a look at it to see if they could adjust it. When they seen it , they said that there was nothing that they could do. If looking down from the head. on the right side of the fret board, at about the 12 fret, you would see a slight bend in the wood. If you looked at the left side, it was straight. Took it back to the other GC that I bought it from and said that the neck was bent and that the other GC tech said that it was unfixable. The manager said that he would have his guitar tech take a look at it. Long story short, he said that all guitar necks have a slight bend in them because if there were perfectly straight, they would not play right. He said that it was fixed. I returned it anyways. I ordered a SR750 from the GC that I always go to. That other GC will not see me anymore.

Yeah, there's a difference between a "bow" and a "twist". If the bend was even on both sides, that would just mean a simple truss rod adjustment. Twists are much less simple to fix.
