Hi all,
Just wanted to share some pics of my baby.
The body is chunked near the pickup, but it doesn't affect the play.
I don't know how old it is, but it is Korean.
Can I tell the manufacture date from the serial #?

ps- How can I post pics rather than the link to yahoo photos?

I feel you on this. :hmm:

I am a big Ibby fan also but the BTB's don't have the "streamlined" look of some of the SR's. Some people might call them more "substantial-looking" but to my eyes, they're a little too chunky/chubby.

As with everything else, YMMV.

Pretty fair comment but then I like the more streamlined models myself. If I were to play a larger body bass I would probably stick with Fender.

Speaking of Ibanez, I got this SR-1205 recently. Very nice bass. This one looks a bit different than others I've seen. The stringers in the neck are wider. Anyone have this lovely dark finish on theirs?

Nice BTB!! I played a 6-string BTB extremely similar to that today at Sam Ash...man, I thought I was a strict four-strings-only guy, but damn that neck felt fine. Oh, and the extra notes were nice, too. Welcome to the club, and what an entrance to make.
