The only thing you can do is hawk eye ebay because I doubt there are any stores that still have any in stock.

Just search the used section of every online store you come across, you'll have to ome across a it or a similar model.

Nope, the ATK is the closest they came to a musicman copy, very nice bass, very similar sounding, alot of people actually prefer the ATK tone to that of the musicman!

Me being one who actually prefers the ATK ... specifically the USATK ... ... but it's not just the tone, versatility is a big factor you can go from P bass vibe to Stingray vibe with the flip of that mini toggle ...

I had a chance to sit down with the older model (see picture below) and was absolutely blown away by the sound and feel of it. It has a 2-band pre with the Seymour Duncan H/S config and it is one of the most aggressive finger-style basses I've -ever- played. I absolutely loved it. Low action, nice frets, and a really comfortable light-weight body. If I was looking for another 4, this would be it. American Musical is currently selling the older model for Invalid Link Removed with free shipping. My GAS pains are at an all-time high right about now.

To elaborate on the differences between the old 900 and the new, the newer has a light ash body and an extra switch. I'm not sure if it's an active-passive switch, or an extra coil toggle, but it looks hot!

The older model (which I absolutely want) has a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, and a coil switch for the humbucker.

The new series is pretty cool reminds me of a Lakland more than the ATK ... To me what made the ATK was the triple coil pickup system ...

It will be interesting to see if the "Treker Guitar" version they are working on in Mona Utah will retain the triple coil system in the new ATTACK bass ...
