The Infamous Band Name Thread

funderbird 3(there were 4 of us,of coarse)1972

The guys I jam with currently were calling themselves T.O.M.B., which stood for The Old Man Band. I was okay with The Old Man Band, but TOMB bugged me for some reason. It sounded a little too Death Metal for a bunch of old guys doing Classic Rock. So we started trying to come up with anything better. Most everything was better than that, no matter how awful. Then a week or two ago, we accidentally came up with a possible keeper:

TOMB is nothing like a death metal name, they tend to be more descriptive.
 
I was just recently joking about starting a band with my four friends (two redheads, two other brunettes), and calling it "Slightly Souless" (because of the stupid, overplayed, "Gingers have no souls" joke).

Like I said, it's not a serious endeavor (yet), but I made us this crappy MS Paint logo.
