Just put the first payment down on a custom Krappy bass. Its gonna be a 4-string styled after a Travis Bean. I thought an all-wood Travis Bean would be pretty funny. Plus, I specified stereo outputs just for grins.

It sounds incredible, it feels very smooth, and it's small and light... and it looks beautiful too. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Got my two string fretless punk rod yesterday. Right out of the box I was pleased and surprised with the quality. I imagined just a board with a pickup stuck to it, but it looked to have had some effort put into the construction. I plucked around without it plugged in and was like "hmmm, I don't know". But then after plugging it in I was like "Oh yeah, there it is". I was going to get all stupid "customizing" it but I think I may just leave it alone. Eventually I'd like to get a Twiggy.

notice it has 3 pickups, how's that working 4u? and what was the reason for it? have fun!

I had the two pickups installed figuring I would install a sustainer system at some time in the future. The two pickups actually give quite a bit of tonal variety too.

I love those Krappy bass, i'm sure there's a lot of fun to get out of it which also gave me the idea to build my own 2 string bass with using an acoustic pickup, it's pretty fun to play too, but i'm not that good with building my own thing...but was still a lot of fun to do it.

i own a very low quality first act, haha, in attempt to make it look semi decent i tore off the pickguard and messed with the knob heads, still looks krappy

how are those necks shaped? are they tapered at all? it seems the strings are all parallel. does anyone find any difficulty with this?

Pretty cool actually. Maybe take some time to shape the headstock a bit and make it a bit more interesting.

My Krappy Bass :

Welcome to the world of 2-string basses! How u liking it so far. What are your strings at ? E and A ? I have a pair of 2 string Krappy's. A fretless E/A and a partially-fretted B/E.
They sound and play quite differently - but I love them both. I generally strap both on at once, one above the other, and plug them through an a-b box, into my amp. I'll even alternate axes in the course of a single song. It's different, for sure - but what the hell..it's MY thing. That's why krappy guitars are the coolest.. it's YOUR thing realized!!!
Those crazy guitar sketches that you doodle on your legal pad during boring-ass work meetings.... turned into a real playable instrument!! Am I not right?
