Looking forward to recieving a Krappy Punk Rod mini-flyinig v fretless 2 string bass......i have been hacking up guitars for years and this is right up my alley. My last project was to de-fret my Hohner B2 Pro last year-now a nice fretless. Also made a Stever Harris clone out of an old Fernandes P-Bass. Added a chrome pickguard, BadAss II bridge, Duncan Bassline pickups and use the Rotosound SHarris strings. Cant wait to get this Krappy bass............

i am actually in the works on a unit that utilizes 8 separate
flat fingerboards, one for each string. this is in lieu of a compound
radiused fingerboard, and gets the job done.

an update: here are some pix of a twiggy 4 with faceted fingerboard...

Interesting. A lot of DBs have a radiused fingerboard under the higher strings, then a flat "facet" like that under the E. It works fine and doesn't feel weird under the hand, so it should work here as well.

Looks like I will be pulling out my 2 string bass. We just booked a 1 hour set at Chess Records in Chicago. I think it would be perfect for the 2 string.

I have two 2-string Krappy's, and they are both really a blast to play!

Well I got back from Ireland and got all messed up w/ some medical issues. But I am out of hospital and back to work and feeling better. Having fun, getting to now my newest Krappy. Been focusing on 2 string basses for the last two years... taking a while to get used to four strings again! Can you believe I own four Krappy guitars ?? is that a record, or no ? Anyway, the new shortscale Diddley bass is wild ... solid as a rock.

Seems very labor-intense? What would one of these cost? At some point you get to where you might as well get an Ergo or something. Of course, then it wouldn't be a Krappy, would it?

While browsing the Krappy website, I was intrigued by the triple neck bass. I emailed Kevin about the cost of constructing another triple neck model. (Actually, I emailed him on US Thanksgiving & he replied the same day.) I hope to begin this project sometime in the new year. Then I noticed this Krappy Klub thread & realized the owner of the existing triple-neck is a fellow TB'er. Cool stuff.

Fantastic !! Will yours likewise be a 1 - 2 - 3 string combo ?? Any thoughts to how you'll be tuning up each neck ? And hey, don't forget about the 0-string "zen" neck !
LOL. You are aware that our Polish Redneck friend has acknowledged that absolute ridiculousness was a major factor in his choosing of this design ? Way to go - welcome to the Klub.
