I love my 2 string.. Mine is fretless after the 12th fret. Fretted 1 to 12!! She is a fun one to play

I kinda like the look of the Taylor EXP-2 - does it come with B/F# or E/B?

I'm wondering if Kevin would build something kinda like the Wing bass, but 25" scale. I've also long thought that having a super long scale (40") P bass made would be awesome.
How about one that uses 3/4 DB Strings? Stainless steel ones like D`A Prelude should work fine with normal pickups.
I was thinking of just going with Kalium, since they produce 40" scale strings for their Quake basses.
...and using DB strings on an instrument that doesn't have as much string length beyond the bridge and the nut is kind of a pain, involving shortening the strings, shaving off silk, soldering the headstock end so it doesn't unravel. So, yeah, if there are 40" bass guitar strings available, and you don't want your P-bass to be bowable, they'll be easier and cheaper.
I am joining the Krappy Klub, I put in my order and sent the funds a couple of days ago. Anxiously awaiting my first "teaser" pics from the Krapmeister. I ordered a 4 string twiggy, if all goes well I will be following this order up with another for a two string punk bass, currently leaning towards the "smith and wessling". I allready have a spare shotgun softcase for it to travel in.

Back in 2008 I had Krappy Guitars make me a 12 string Touchstyle tapping instrument.
I called it "The Faux-Lembic"
Styled after a Stanley Clarke Alembic.
It was six melody strings tuned in fourths.
And six bass strings tuned in inverted fourths.
But at the end on the year I ran into overdraft trouble with my back account and had to sell it to cover the deficit.
I sold it to Music-Go-Round in Kenosha.
According to one of the sale persons it didn't stay on the wall very long!
I don't want this back,but I wonder who owns this now?

I had an email discussion with Kevin this morning, planing on placing an order for a 4 or 5 string twiggy (most likely 4) with curved fingerboard tomorrow. I can't wait!
