He used leopardwood for the fingerboard of my eub and it is beautiful. He told me he's not that good at building, not sure on what planet that's true, his stuff is very cool.
not in my hands yet. I have one other that I bought off eBay that was made last year. i'll let you know.
I've been thinking of getting something similar for my second Krappy.
If you don't mind me asking, did you send him the upgraded hardware/pickup? And did his price change because of that?

I got the pickups from ye ol' TB classifieds and had them shipped to him. So far, no additional charge for installing them. I also asked him for a tone knob to control them, so far, no additional charge for installing it. I also asked for a custom-figured top, so far, no additional charge for sourcing it. I also asked him to round the body sides, so far, no additional charge for doing it.
Either I am just being made nice to or I will get a bill eventually, either way, awesome.
Kevin spent a ton of time with me on the phone and via email/text. I hope all his customers aren't as big a PITA as I am/was.

removed Krappy's bridge, replaced with 2 individual bass bridges
finished it in TruOil
neck keeps shrinking so had 2nd fret redress for ends only (sharp)

no that is extra --- but worth it, especially if you intend to string up with E/A or B/E
I've put a Krappy 5-string bass that can be played touch-style in the classified. In case anyone is interested.

Just ordered a 2-string Punkbass from the Meister himself...
No progress pics yet, although I can understand why since sent him the payment pretty late in the afternoon. The one I ordered is pretty much the fretted Carmona 2 listed on the Punkbass page, but with a wider neck. I can't wait to receive the first progress pics, and will upload them as it comes along.
The total was only 170 including shipping to California
