The Krappy Bassists Klub

OK, I've been taking Miss Twiggy to church on Sunday, so I'll get my young'un to shoot a pic :-)

Pete:
You entertain the church-folk, and I'll see what I can do for the drunken barflies @ The Grill!

Smolken:
I'd like to see a picture of you, with two extra sets of arms
photo-shopped in, playing all three necks at once! You do only have 2 arms of your own, right?

Haha... I'll see what I can do. I have the normal number of limbs, don't worry. It's just the number of necks that's unusual... my basses have lots while I myself have none.

(Yup, that's a picture of me)

okey dokey, apparently Kevin is gonna put the soundfile of my arrangement of rodrigo's concierto de aranjuez, mvt 2, on his site, krappyguitars.com, when he gets to it... in the meantime, you can listen in by just going to Link Removed, it should play as soon as you get there... wish i could just put the file here, but so it goes... hope one of you checks it out and lets me know if you love it or hate it- guaranteed it's Krappy no doubt!

It sounds great, just as good, if not better as/than any tapper out there. It sounds very pristine and clear, the output on the tappers is tremendous.

Hey I got a new (non-Krappy) bass in the mail yesterday. A factory-made 4-string model, that has been converted to fretless. Won it for cheap on e-bay. You know what? It felt freakin' weird to be plunking on a 4-string, after playing my 2-string exclusively since August! Neck is too wide, and them damn extra strings get in the way!! I am so glad that the next bass on its way to me is another 2-stringed Krappy. I think I have found my Nietzshe as a bass player ;)

hey thanks for listening Lo-End, i think the instrument is every bit as good as any stick or megatar or anything out there after the setup job at sf guitarworks... Kevin also put it on his site fyi, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] at the bottom of the page, called "rodrigo"... it's like every instrument i've ever played in my life was to prepare me for this beast lol... have a great V-day y'all, be nice to all the women in your life tomorrow, in all the Best Ways... cheers, Eric

lovin' the 3 armed polish bassist foto! goshdarn the krappy kulture is spreading everywhere; it must trip kevin out sometimes to think that his handiwork is, at this point, all over the world, in the hands of a growing multitude of folks who like having their dollar (ruble, yen, euro etc) go a long way... anyone (Lo-End lol?) wanna checkit out, i have a new soundfile in 7, those of you who are rhythm nuts might enjoy it at
myspace.com/tenorsf... cheers to all! Eric

You can hear it on the song "Czerwony pas" (krappy kover of a Polish folk song) at Link Removed - it's the distorted track. I think I used the three-string neck.

And some guy who isn't me playing it:

If his band ever gets famous I'm gonna use that photo to blackmail him.

Oh my god, the sight of this thing makes me want to commit suicide
