I am certainly not disputing that fact...the reason I got the Lakland was because of the early style of the bass. I appreciate all of the nuances that Lakland added.


I think it's a killer design and always have. I just wanted to make it known that before it became an official Lakland sig that some changes were indeed added from Laklands own perspective..
 
If Lakland kept it in the line, what should they call it?

I hate to break it to some of you, but there's a strong possibility that Lakland will not be making any new sig basses for a long while if ever again.

Seriously, they gotta keep the line going. Offer finishes other than the sparklage. The finish is the only thing that kept me from buying or trading for one.

I like the contest idea. I know they have a little tradition with doing the sig models in the J and P line, but don't have to be that way.
