I'm proud of my Elton John covers. Elton is one of the greatest singers in the history of rock and roll, and I tried my best to pull off some pretty difficult vocals. I didn't always succeed, but where I did, I feel I expanded my range, style and technique quite a lot.

I've tried to get my band to cover this ever since I heard a Stones cover of it. I think it's a great tune.

I considered doing it, but I have a couple issues. I will get back to you on that one.
The album was released yesterday October 5th 1973 can't wait, great album, great songs
So I mention right on the site that this is NOT intended as a parody, rather an homage. I absolutely LOVE Bob, and always have. I think he's one of the great geniuses of modern music. I'm kind of an unusual cover cat, as I sometimes try very hard to sound like the original singer, and sometimes do not.
