very plain vanilla, i know, but I like it that way. Soon to have a nice black pickguard.

Dang. That's a nice Tripod Box. I bet thats MIJ too, eh?

well i prefer MIJ cos of the john entwistle song of the same name, it just makes me chuckle when i play it.

as for the jag neck it is amazing i couldnt believe how thin it was when i got it (i was playing an epi t bird for a few months and a yamaha 5 string for a few years before that so the neck was a real shock).

i would personaly choose the jag over the geddy neck
1) the inlays ARE actually inlayed
2) as much as i love full maple necks the jag one with its MOP blocks on RW is just ace
3) its got JAGUAR on it hehe and the R curls (ever since i started playing i always wanted a jag bass bit fender only did Bass VI in jag style, now im happy tho)

I dont know about the black plate tho a tort one like jp only would be nice.

nice sting sig there basstones, i always loved tele basses (infact my 2 guitars are teles)

1) i didn't know geddy's wasn't inlaid.
2) I wish they would make one with maple then, with black block INLAYS
3) Jaguar would be on there if they made it with a maple ala geddy, that was what i really meant.

I too have a bass vi fetish, but the bass vi was already sort of a jaguar type animal. not to say i like the baritone jaguar tho. and you can always drop a load on the fender custom shop VIs they are making for this year only! :D or drop some on the old MIJ reissues. or drop a ton of cash and get a real one... my friend has owned 3 of them, including a sunburst 62, and his main axe now, a 63 in original blonde finish, the only one most people have ever seen in blonde...

I like black on black with a maple fretboard, that's my style, wouldn't expect everyone to love the same thing otherwise we would only have sunburst, lol.

that aerodyne is nice pseek, i love the binding it reminds me of a tele.

eboe i would LOVE a bass VI but i just cant get the cahones to rob my local bank/post office (sorry i got mcvicar ost on hehe). although if they did a nice antigar (have i spelled that right?) jag bass or even a bass 6 i may do it out of the madness that would seep into my brain from the sheer beauty of it.
