Why am I not seeing pics of this bass yet?!?!?!?!?!? No pics no bass. :)

Day job to pay for the bass :) If I was paid for my playing skills I wouldn't be on the Lull thread.

Not sure about Greg (he has some mad playin' skills), but my engineering is quite a bit better then my playing.

Mike picked a killer board for it to and it is forever labeled "Synergy" with Mikes sig on the back of the head stock. I am two miles from it at work, maybe able to hear it at lunch........

Some cell phone pics from lunch!

What pickups did you go with?

Nordstrand 2 band with active/passive and tone control and nordstrand P pickup and NJ5S. Also routed and have another pickguard for a NJ5S neck pickup. The mids are really meaty with that pickup and being a j-bass guy wanted a fall back if the p thing didn't work out. I need to hear it in a mix to see how I like it but it is a 8lb 6 oz tone monster. Also has D'addario strings (steel I believe) which I will change to some dunlops in the near future. Not sure why those strings are on there as I thought they went to Dunlop exclusively at Lull. Maple baord is killer and the playability is great.

I have an Ash / Rosewood PJ it is also 8.6 lbs. I went passive and Mike recommended Fralin's. I wonder what other options would sound like. What would be your choice for passive?

Dude I a pretty much an active guy, so pure passive is out of my realm... Wouldn't feel comfortable providing a recommendation on that, but would truct what Mike suggests!
