Ya, the inspiration for mine! You still have the elixers on yours? The D'addarios sound a little tinny to me on the D and G. I went with the Nordstrand package as well.

Earlier in the year, I was looking for a good quality, passive, P bass. Called Mike up and at first he said he didn't have anything made up. We were getting ready to discuss a new order then he remembered one he had at NAMM being used in the Aguilar booth.
He said Aguilar had this Berklee student using a Lull P bass to demonstrate their gear. He said she was mostly a J player but just couldn't but this P bass down.
I agree 100%. Since the beginning of this year, It's been my "go to" gigging bass. No matter what type of gig, it just works. Only change I made was the black pickguard. Other than that, it's perfect as is.

thank you guys, I fell for that blue/maple combo when I saw it and the honey burst looks great too, still getting used to the wider string spacing on the P but I like the neck profile and fingerboard radius

Ok lull maniacs. I've got an M4 which is pretty darn perfect. In fact I like the neck so much I rarely want to play other basses and I've just bought a new MONO double gig bag so I need a back-up Lull. I've narrowed it down to the following:
JT4, a TC4 or a good old M4V,
which would you guys go for and why? I'm going to go rosewood on the second and probably a metallic finnish so Candy red, Candy Mango, Candy Orange.
here is a better pick of my current blue bass (that's a broken tone pot and the reason I bought the MONO gig bag, my old gator case just doesn't protect enough)

If you want a true backup I'd go for a m4v. If you want diversity, the other 2 would be great. I'd personally go for the "T" because those pups are awesome.
Of those three I'd go for the JT4, the pickups sound awesome. I like the P shape better so mine is a PT4 instead.
