so i have had my v4 for sbout a month now and i have to say, it is my main player. everytime i pick it up it feels great and sounds even better. it feels boutique and oozes quality. the craftsmanship in these basses are spoiling me for other basses. one of the best things i have ever bought

I just got my M4V from Mike and the gang. Metallic Orange, Fralin hum canceling, Bart pre, D-Tuner.

Esos bajos se ven bien!!!

Greg at rocket music was cool enough to get me a progress pic of my V4. I asked for a little deeper version of surf green, closer to seafoam and Paul at the shop was able to get it done for me. really happy with the color!

That's a great color!

Could you please share you experience regarding this build: how much time passed since the build was started so that you was able to request such a pic? I'm thinking when should I send my request to Greg and Paul somewhere in the future :) (my build is just started).

Pauliebass has good advice for you vates. I placed the order with
Greg on it around 12/17, so it's been a little under 8 weeks at this point. I was expecting closer to mid march for completion and I'm hearing two weeks now so they're ahead of schedule. :D

Nice basses, too! :)

Are any of those passive, Jerry? I'm jonesing hard for a passive J now. I might temporarily convert my trans black M5V to passive, just to see if I dig it...

You should try a Glockenklang pre-amp sometime(just to add to your mod craziness...).

If you get one with a treble knob that's not stacked, in passive mode(volume push/pull) it works as a tone control.
