Pretty sure that's due to the Sadowskys having 19mm spacing, and the Lulls having 18mm spacing. There are 3 retailers within reasonable driving distance of me the have Sadowsky Basses on the hanger. I only play 5'vers. Every 5 string Sadowsky I have tried (both Metro and NYC) had a neck I just did not care for. All have felt to wide. More like a six string. But the string spacing on my Fender Pro's was much better. The spacing on my M5V is perfect. Nice thin neck. Very fast and fluid. Now I'm sure Sadowsky lovers will flame me. But this Lull has beaten at least a dozen Sadowskys that I've tried. And I'm sure Sadowskys are awesome in the right players hands. But I'm a Lull guy. And I still love my Fenders.
And of course, neck profile.
